Tigh na Craig offers spacious and comfortable self catering accommodation on the Hebridean Isle of Coll. The house is situated in the west end of Coll, a haven of peace and tranquility, next to the RSPB Nature reserve.
Tigh na Craig Self Catering Accommodation
Tigh na Craig is a new three bedroom house, purpose built for holidays on the Isle of Coll. It offers generous, comfortable accommodation over two floors and boasts eco-friendly ground source underfloor heating. The house can comfortably sleep parties of six.
On the ground floor you will find a well equipped open plan dining kitchen, with electric hob and oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The kitchen opens out onto the spacious double height sitting area with woodburning stove. A double bedroom, entrance hall and large family bathroom with washing machine can also be found downstairs.
Upstairs, you will find the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and shower and a further double bedroom with views over the RSPB Nature Reserve. All the bedrooms in Tigh na Craig have double beds and built in wardrobes.
Arriving at Tigh na Craig
Tigh na Craig is usually booked from Saturday to Saturday but that is flexible. Bookings can be made on other days of the week but the minimum booking period is three days. The cottage will be available from 2pm on the day of your arrival. The house is situated about five miles from Arinagour, down a farm track, which you turn on to just before Coll Airport (don’t worry about excessive noise, the plane only lands a few times a week!).
Leaving Tigh na Craig
After a thoroughly relaxing holiday on the Isle of Coll, the time will inevitably come when it is somebody else’s turn to enjoy Tigh na Craig… Please leave it as you found it. Juliet does a fantastic job on the changeovers but she only has a short window before the next guests arrive. It is important that you kindly vacate the house by 10am so Juliet can get the house ready for the next party.
You may have a couple of hours to kill before your ferry departs but there is plenty to see and do in Arinagour… The Coll Hotel does a fantastic brunch at the weekends from 10am to 1pm and the Island Cafe is open for tea and coffee. There is also a Saturday market from March till October at An Cridhe, Coll’s community centre where you can grab a last minute souvenir.
